Workshops and Seminars
The Institute of Krav Maga is committed to organising reasonably priced training for our members. Seminars and courses further enhance your skills and for those who are new to Krav Maga, these are opportunities to really experience what the system is about, before committing to regular classes.
Seminars are run both internally by the Institute UK and also by experts from around the globe.
Krav Maga UK Ltd. reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons, who we have reason to believe may be attending our seminars for the purpose of learning for non self-defence related reasons, or for any reason we feel that it would be inappropriate or detrimental for the person(s) concerned to view or learn our techniques.
Please note that all seminar prices are inclusive of VAT. No tax will be added.

A workshop designed for Institute of Krav Maga UK male members to bring their wives or girlfriends to Krav Maga and to see what you do at training!
The workshop will be split into 3 stages...
- For the girls - We will focus on simple and effective methods of self defence for women including how to avoid and prevent situations of danger!
- For the boys - You will learn how to protect your loved one as well as yourself in a situation of conflict or violence!
- For you both - A chance to practice together what you have learnt in earlier scenarios.
There are limited spaces for 12 couples only on this course due to health and safety reasons. Female participants will need to complete a Health Questionnaire prior to commencing training. Male participants must wear groin protection and we strongly recommend gum shields. Where possible, we also recommend protection for female participants. Non marking training shoes or mat shoes will be required.

This workshop will cover the basic level techniques of having to deal with an assailant who is armed with a hand gun, for the interest of those members who wish to have an idea of what is taught in higher levels of the Krav Maga system.
This is a very specific subject and is not taught in main stream classes until Graduate Level is attained, due to the necessity of having to improve reaction speed through training and the ability to make accurate decisions under pressure. Spaces are limited to 24 people only due to health and safety reasons.
Groin protection must be worn and we strongly recommend gum shields. Non marking training shoes or mat shoes will be required.

A workshop offering extended training in defending against threats and attacks with an edged weapon. The training will cover various scenarios of increased stress such as high speed attacks, in a confined space or when disorientated, both standing up and on the ground.
Knife attacks are a rapidly increasing problem in the UK today and therefore additional training in this subject is recommended for everyone regardless of grade or experience.
Training will be conducted with as much realism as possible therefore
we highly recommend forearm protection. Groin protection must be worn and we strongly recommend gum shields. Non marking training shoes or mat shoes will be required.
