Inductions, Membership and Prices

Induction

To see our class timetables click here.

To join the Institute of Krav Maga UK you must be at least 18 years of age. Young adults aged between 16 to 18 may join with parental consent.

As a complete beginner it is important that you understand the very basics of the Krav Maga system and therefore are required to attend a mandatory induction session.

The induction session costs only £20.00 during which you will be trained by one of our instructors on the basic stances, movements and the 360 degree system of defence. After you have completed the induction you can then attend the classes with enough knowledge to get the most from your training.

London inductions take place every 3 weeks on a Saturday.

Thames Valley inductions take place every 3 weeks on a Saturday.

Essex Inductions take place in the evening prior to the regular weekly classes.

Once you have completed the sign up process you will be contacted within 48 hours via e-mail by one of our instructors with information about when and where the next induction session will take place, what to wear and what to bring with you.

After your induction you will then get to speak to the instructor on a one to one basis to discuss which membership package best suits your lifestyle and training requirements.

Please note that inductions are non refundable unless in the unlikely event the session is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances

Joining The Institute

Once you have chosen your membership package, a one off payment of £50.00 is required in order to complete your registration. This fee includes:

Membership to the Institute of Krav Maga UK.
Membership to the International Krav Maga Federation.
Complete Krav Maga training uniform consisting of official IKMF t-shirt and training trousers.
Discounts on all Institute featured seminars and courses.
Automatically added to our database from which you will receive the monthly newsletter and information on future events.

Discount

Krav Maga UK Ltd offers a 20% discount on all membership levels to senior citizens and students who can produce valid student identification.

Insurance

The Institute of Krav Maga makes every effort to ensure that all training taken place is done so in a controlled manner, in a safe and secure environment, under qualified supervision. All Instructors are fully covered with public liability and personal indemity insurance to allow them to teach the techniques as dictated by the Krav Maga Syllabus.

In order to fully protect against unfortunate accidents or incidents, Krav Maga UK Ltd recommends that all students obtain the student to student insurance. This policy covers you against the unlikely event of getting injured or injuring another.

The Institute can arrange student to student insurance through the British Combat Association for a fee of £16.00 payable annually.

Cover is inclusive of:

£1m general liability & member to member cover
Personal accident, capital benefits (death, perm disability)
£250 dental cover any one accident (£50 excess)
£250 physio (£50 excess)
Loss of earnings £50 weekly (28 day excess)
Hospitalisation £25 per day (max 90 days)
British combat association grading log book

Annual Holiday: No classes are run during Bank Holidays and we take our annual leave in late July for 2 weeks and over the Christmas and New Year period. Exact dates may vary each year and will be posted on the News and Updates page.

Class Cancellations: In the unlikely event of a class cancellation due to unforseen circumstances such as Instructor Injury or illness, you are invitited to train at any of our other weekly classes in order to make up for your lost session.
