Detail:

An intensive 3 hour workshop looking at the subject of defending other people such as friends, a loved one or protected people for those working in the security industry.

The workshop will cover intervention techniques and methods of evacuation for taking the other person to safety.

The 3rd Party Protection sector of Krav Maga is one of the specialist sectors of the IKMF system which also includes Military, Law Enforcement, Special Units and Air Marshals.

Groin protection and gum shields are mandatory. Shin guards and forearm guards are recommended.

Due to the amount of people asking for this workshop again, our Level 1 workshop looking at defending a threat from a hand gun returns for 2010.

A 3 hour workshop concentraing on the extreme situation of being threatened with a hand gun. This subject is normally taught at higher levels of the Krav Maga system as it requires development of hand to eye coordination and an ability to remain calm under stress.

This workshop gives you a good idea of what to expect as you work towards the graduate level of the system.

Fight Like A Girl - Women Only!

A workshop aimed at women only focusing on defending against the common threats and attacks faced by women.

The subjects covered include defending on the ground and using common objects for self defence as well as practical ways to avoid or deter dangerous situations.

The workshop concludes where each particpant gets to practice their skills on one of the instructor team wearing the fully padded and highly protected FIST suit so you may practice your techniques as realistically as possible.

This is the third year that Fight Like a Girl has been offered due to its resounding success!

If you are a female member of the club, please do bring your friends who are not training in Krav Maga to give them a taste of what it is all about!

Quite a few people were not quick enough of the mark to get a place on the last knife threat workshop and we received alot of emails from people wanting to attend, so we are running it again.

An intensive 3 hour workshop covering the ever increasing problem of knife crime. The subjects covered include defences against a variety of common threats and attacks with edged weapons. The main focus being on quick decision making an creating distance.

This is a high intensity workshop that includes high stress reaction training and training under pressure. Make sure you do not miss out this time!

Due to the success of this workshop last year, it has been requested again!

This is a chance for club members to bring their partner, a loved one, or a friend to have a go at Krav Maga and learn some basic self defence.

The workshop will cover a variety of basics from the system for the newcomers and some advance techniques for the club members. The workshop will conclude with scenario based training where you will train together with the person you attend with.

There are 12 spaces for 12 couples on this workshop.
